
Limited Liability Partnership has the characteristics of a private company and a conventional partnership. - Documents of Partners
- ID proof of the partners – All the partners are required to submit a copy of their PAN card, which is a primary ID proof.
- Residence proof of Partners – Residence proof is required for the registration purpose. Documents like latest telephone bill, electricity bill, gas bill etc which are not than 2 months old containing the name and residence address is to be submitted.
- Address proof of partners – Along with residence proof, the partners are required to submit the document that will be the proof of address of the partner. Documents like Voter ID, Drivers License, Aadhar Card, etc can be used. The name, address and other details on the PAN card and address proof should be the same. In case of any difference in any of the details in either of the documents, it should be rectified according before submitting the documents.
- Photograph – Partners are required to submit the most recent passport size photographs, preferably in white background.
- Passport (in case of Foreign Nationals/ NRIs) – It is mandatory of a foreign national or NRI to submit a copy of passport in order to become a partner in Indian Online LLP Formation in India. The copy of the passport should be notarised the relevant authorities in the country of the foreign national or Indian Embassy situated in that country can also sign the documents. - Documents of LLP
- Proof of Registered Office Address – Proof of registered office address has to be submitted within the 30 days of its incorporation or during the registration which is possible if the registered office is taken on rent. If the registered office is taken on rent, then the rent agreement and a no objection certificate from the landlord will be the proof for registration of office address.
- Digital Signature Certificate – A digital signature is to obtained mandatorily. A copy of certificate of issuance of digital certificate from the licensing issuing authority is also to be submitted.
